Product Overview

This is an easy to use and cost effective USB to serial adapter based on the CH340C chip. This adapter works the same as a CH340G serial converter, and has a standard FTDI serial adapter pinout (DTR, RXI, TXO, VCC, CTS, GND). There is a handy slide switch on the side of the board for quickly changing between 5V and 3.3V power and logic. The CH340C is capable of automatically installing drivers on most operating systems so you don’t need to manually.

This adapter works great for uploading code to microcontrollers like the Arduino Pro Mini, or our Tineato boards that have identical serial headers. Simply stick the ends of the headers into the through hole pads on your board, gently push on the adapter to make sure all pins are connected, and upload away! The adapter also works at speeds from 50bps to 2Mbps for fast development. The USB-C port can be used along with any USB cable as long as one end is USB-C.
