Product Overview

This small microcontroller board uses the latest and greatest from the ATtiny series, which compared to an ATtiny85, it’s quite an upgrade. This board uses the ATtiny3226 microcontroller from the 2-series ATtiny’s. It has 32KB of flash memory compared to the 8KB of an ATtiny85, which is also the same amount of memory on an Arduino UNO R3’s ATmega328p. It also has 3072B of ram (compared to 512B on an ATtiny85, and 2048B on an ATmega328p), and at 5V the ATtiny3226 runs at 20MHz.

The Mineato 3226 has a USB-C port and an onboard serial converter like an Arduino Nano. This along with the pre-flashed Optiboot bootloader makes it easier to use if you are frequently programming the board, or need a serial connection for a long time. If you need a smaller but powerful replacement for an Arduino Nano, this is the board for you.

You can power the board with up to 15V on the Vin pin, or power it with a regulated 5V supply on the 5V pin. If powering the board through the Vin pin, the voltage regulator can output up to 1A to the 5V pin, which is current limited and has thermal shutdown. The 3V3 pin can only output a small amount of power (<30mA), and should only be used as a 3.3V reference voltage for devices like logic level converters.
