Tineato 3226 – ATtiny Development Board 3.3V/10MHz

This small development board uses the latest and greatest from the ATtiny series, which compared to an ATtiny85, it’s quite an upgrade. This board uses the ATtiny3226 microcontroller from the 2-series ATtiny’s. It has 32KB of flash memory compared to the 8KB of an ATtiny85, which is also the same amount of memory on an Arduino UNO R3. It also has 3072B of ram (compared to 512B on an ATtiny85, and 2048B on an UNO), and at 3.3V the ATtiny3226 can run up to 10MHz. You can find the 5V/20MHz version here.

The Tineato 3226 does not have a USB port or USB capabilities, but instead an FTDI style serial header at the end of the board (like on an Arduino Pro Mini) which can be connected to any serial adapter like our CH340C Serial Adapter. The board comes shipped with the Optiboot bootloader and has an auto-reset circuit on the board for easy programming with a serial adapter (you can also manually reset by shorting the RST pin to the GND pin). Taking out any USB ports and/or onboard serial converters helps the board stay small for any projects where space saving matters.

You can power the board with up to 24V on the Vin pin, or power it with a regulated 3.3V supply on the VCC  pin. If powering the board through the Vin pin, the voltage regulator can output up to 500mA.
